I am very excited because we get to see our families this weekend and next week! I have missed spending time with our families! Today is Photo Dump Friday...sorry if you follow me on Instagram you will get the same pictures twice! We had a pretty relaxing week but like I said last week, I can't wait to start school! I can't wait to go back and work in my classroom and meet all of my new students and of course see all of my students from last year. I bet they have grown so much over the summer! I hope you have a great weekend!

Photo Dump Friday!

Yay, it's Friday! Well, right now everyday is Friday for me! I must say though, I am ready to be back in my classroom! Here is how my week went:
It started out by keeping this sweet dog...Meet Maggie
She decided to take over Hershey's bed
And Hershey decided she wanted it back
Meanwhile, poor Tucker can barely fit on his bed
We played a little dominoes
 And a little more
Hershey and I went to Sonic and got ice cream
I made a new wreath for my front door...tutorial found here
I ate some yummy Special K cereal...really does help when you are craving something sweet
I went to Starbucks and got a yummy iced coffee
But Jonathan showed them up and made one even better!
I made some yummy shrimp enchiladas with jalapeno cream sauce! Recipe can be found here
These are some of the things my students treated me to to help me have a great summer!
I bought a new Bible study and it is awesome!
Hershey and I went for a walk
 They are just being lazy
 And still being lazy
I got to watch one the cutest babies ever for the afternoon!
 He is bananas over mommy
 Painted my fingernails...again
Wore a ring I made out of one of my grandmas old earrings
Whew, that was a lot! I hope you had a great week!

Summer

Yesterday I went to Jazzercise, then I went to Christian Book Outlet to buy a new Bible study and then went to Starbucks...yes I am enjoying my summer break! The benefits of being a teacher! As I was driving, I realized that my sweet students and their families helped make my summer break awesome! I have them to thank for all of the fun and relaxing things I have been doing this summer!

Thanks to them, I have had pretty fingernails and toenails and I've been able to pamper myself a little!
My house smells wonderful!
I've been able to use my adorable new clipboard and pens!
I am enjoying my new Bible study
I've been able to try a fun new way to exercise!
I've been able to enjoy some iced coffee!
I was looking through pictures of my students from this past year and I can't believe my first year of teaching is already over and I am about to start my second year. I am going to miss those kiddos soooooo much!! I am already missing their sweet hugs and smiles this summer. I am excited about meeting my new class and loving them but I can't believe my first group will walking past my room each day as they head to their first grade classroom!! I hope saying goodbye to my classes gets easier as the years go on!
