A Baby Girl, Thanksgiving, and Christmas

So it's been 4 months since I last posted! Sorry, it's probably not going to get much better! I wish I could say it would :( I love blogging and reading blogs, but I don't have much time these days. I am having a baby and was so excited about doing cute baby bump posts but unfortunately I am 23 weeks pregnant and haven't done one post! I've been off all week for Thanksgiving break so I figured I could do at least one post and who knows maybe it will encourage me to do more!

This past week my goal was to get the baby's room completely cleaned out...and I achieved that goal! I also registered! It was so much fun and so stressful at the same time. I have no idea what I need! I know she (Audrey Grace) will have more than she ever needs! I finally bought some baby clothes! I have a feeling I am going to be addicted to buying baby clothes!
I registered for this little darling
I'm thinking about putting this in Audrey Grace's room. I am having the hardest time figuring out how to decorate her room without spending a fortune. Baby bedding is soooooo expensive!
She finally has some clothes in her closet!
I cannot wait to meet and hold this precious child!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We hosted it at our house this year! It was so much fun!! I was horrible and didn't take any pictures, so I will move on to Christmas.

I love this time of year!

Christmas candles
 Christmas decorations

Our new ornament this year! Can't wait to add Audrey Grace next year!

Hopefully I won't wait another 4 months!!

Wholly Guacamole!

Last night I made homemade guacamole and shrimp tacos! It was delicious!! I LOVE avocados and they are so good for you!
I found the guacamole recipe here:
I found the shrimp taco recipe here:
 {Whatever you do, don't try this sauce by itself! It is nasty but it does taste great on the tacos!}
We tried our guacamole with pretzel chips instead of tortilla chips. It's actually pretty good and healthier!

Our Weekend in Bentonville

This weekend we loaded up the pups and headed to Bentonville to see my parents. We had a great relaxing weekend! Here the pups are anxiously waiting to leave:
We finally had time to visit Crystal Bridges Art Museum
Of course I had to take a picture of the owl
 Love it!
During lunch
 Delicious chicken salad
There were so many cute journals! I was in heaven!
 On our way home
They had such a tough weekend
