A Little About my Day

Tonight has been so relaxing, so I thought I would use this free time to blog! I don't have much time to sit and read blogs anymore. I miss it! My morning started off great! I had a yummy cup of Joe (Pumpkin Spice Joe) and read in Zephaniah. I loved this verse:

"The Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing." Zephaniah 3:17

I then headed to school! I love seeing all of my kids in the morning! I have the best job and I am so thankful for it! This week we have been reading Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and discussing farm animals. It has been my favorite thing to teach so far! I found a lot of great ideas from this blog!

Tomorrow we go on our first field trip! We are taking the students to the fair to see the farm animals! I am pretty excited about it!

Jonathan had something to do tonight so Hershey and I got to hang out! I loaded her up in the car and we headed to Starbucks to get a Pumpkin Spice Latte!

We then headed home and are now sitting on the couch watching It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown! What a perfect night!

Have I mentioned that in two weeks one of these cuties will be ours?!?!?!? His name is Tucker!

Back to watching my show!

It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

I absolutely love this time of year!!! Fall is my favorite season!! Not sure if you remember this post from last year, but it pretty much explains why I love Fall! I seriously think the song, "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" should be about Fall!

A few ways I have welcomed Fall!!

{I had my first Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte of the season!}
{Bought my first bag of candy corn...I did use over half of it for decorating}
{I have my Fall decorations out!}
{When you walk in, my house smells like pumpkins and apple pie}
{We went to our first Razorback game of the season!}
{Hershey is all ready to hunt and watch the Hogs}
{I had some cherry cobbler}
{Got my first box of Pumpkin Spice coffee}

What a great way to bring in my favorite season! Next on my list is to watch It's a Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, go to a pumpkin patch and bake pumpkin bread!

Bedroom Re-do

My extra bedroom is finally complete!! There are a couple of more things I want to change but for the most part it is finished and actually looks like a room, not a junk room! If I was smart, I would have taken before and after pictures but I only have the after pictures!

{These pillows were my inspiration. I absolutely love them!}
{The room when you first walk in}
{Nightstand I painted}
{I love my chair and 25 cent books!}
{Blessed, to remind me that God has blessed us so much!}

{Collage of frames...will be adding more frames and adding more pictures}
{I love these pictures of Jonathan and his dad!}
{Another chalkboard I made...I love chalkboards!}

Now I won't be embarrassed when visitors come stay with us!

Labor Day Crafting

I decided to spend the weekend with my parents! Jonathan went hunting so Hershey and I loaded up and headed to NWA.

My dad surprised me with some of this:

{I absolutely love chocolate milk!}

I started redecorating my extra bedroom this summer and have yet to finish it.

{This is as far as I got...the bedding}

Since I started my job I haven't had any extra time so I decided I would get a lot done this weekend! I have been super addicted to pinterest....not such a good thing. It is honestly a waste of time, but I love it! I have found so many cute ideas and decided I should start creating some of them.

{I had three blank canvases and decorated two of them with fabric and crosses}
{Mom gave me some old frames that we painted...I am going to add some scrabble letters to this one}
{We went to my favorite flea market and I bought some other cute turquoise and yellow frames along with an old shutter}
{Super cute turquoise chair}
{Another canvas I had...mom and I added wood letters and spray painted it....we are still working on this one}
{I also went to my favorite book store! Teachers get 50% off all books so I bought some more books for my classroom along with these old books, 25 cents a piece!}

I am finished with all of the decorating now! Next on my list is to paint my furniture!

{Now back to drinking my coffee and enjoying my three day weekend!}
